Walter H. Paramore - North Carolina Federal Criminal Defense Lawyer

Criminal defense lawyer Walter Paramore has been in practice for more than 30 years. He focuses on providing quality criminal defense representation to clients facing North Carolina or federal charges, including in death penalty cases.

Since 1995, Mr. Paramore has been certified as a specialist in criminal law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. In his years of practice, he has handled in excess of 130 criminal jury trials, 11 capital murder trials and numerous federal appeals.

Attorney Paramore is a senior member of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel, which consists of attorneys in private practice who are appointed to accept federal criminal cases. This participation, combined with his work as a former prosecutor, has allowed him to build extensive knowledge and experience in the area of criminal defense.
